Listen. It may be 98 degrees to day. And I may be sweating
from places I didn’t even know could sweat.
Still.
I will always be team “hold on to summer for as long as I
can”.
That being said, today Lilly Pulitzer dropped their first launch of Fall 2022. One thing to to be said for Lilly Pulitzer is that they never go too hard into fall- we still get a lot of cheery, bright prints. That's something my endless, summer soul can hold onto!
Personally for me this launch was just so-so. There’s definitely
some pieces I would love to get into my closet annnnnnnd there’s some that I
can’t believe they made it to production.
So let's take a look at our new prints and colorways:
|
Top row L to R:
Adalia Tiered Dress in Low Tide Navy Flirty Fins And
Feathers- THIS is my top choice for this launch. I love just about everything
about it. I really hope my girls will fit into the structured cups- always a
struggle!
Simora Fringe Cardigan in Spicy Coral Exotic Tweed- Great
fall piece in every way possible
Seana Chillylilly Dress in Resort White Mermazing- I don’t
think I’ve ever tried anything from the “Chillylilly” line but I do really like
the silhouette of this dress!
Bottom row L to R:
Sea View Button Down Top in Low Tide Navy Any Fin For You- I’m
not totally wild about this fish print but I do think it could work for this
button down. Pretty basic.
Mila Stretch Shift Dress in Turquoise Shore I Spy
Engineered- Ever since I tried on the Mila shift in Palm Beach I have been a
huge fan. This is another great colorway for this silhouette.
Liabella Off-The-Shoulder Eyelet Midi Dress- Again, ANOTHER eyelet I love! This is in this season’s color Spicy Coral.
The flops? Personally, I am not into the "Take Me to the Sea" print. And then to engineer, combine it with "Low Tide Navy Any Fin For You" is a huge flop for me- PUN INTENDED. I know Lilly can be a lot, but this is A LOT.
That being said- I'm sure there's someone out there that can rock this like a supermodel, it's just not going to be me!
Oh no, Oh no, Oh no no no no no |
